PENNSYLVANIA STATE UNIVERSITY RENEWABLE ENERGY AND SUSTAINABLE SYSTEMS

The PSU RESS program is designed to develop graduates for management and leadership positions in industry and government with technical and socio-economic aspects of the Renewable and Sustainability fields.  The program is interdisciplinary, led by the Department of Energy and Mineral Engineering with specific courses from other University departments with the goal to:

• Gain advanced technical expertise in a focused area of sustainable energy resources

• Understand Renewable Energy and Sustainability in the context of the national and global economy

• Lead the transformation of the economy to renewable and sustainable bases, and

• Develop programs and projects that are both innovative and measurably sustainable
